Dino Park is the largest outdoor museum in Portugal! Inserted in an area of 10 hectares. It includes 4 courses with the most important epochs of the earth’s history: The end of the Paleozoic, the Triassic, the Jurassic and the Cretaceous.
Along these routes visitors can observe more than 120 models of dinosaurs and other animals on a real scale. The Park was thought to be an “Edutainment” (Education + Entertainment) experience. It combines knowledge of Earth evolution with fun for the whole family.
In addition to the outdoor routes, in the central building of Dino Parque can be visited the exhibition of the Museum of Lourinhã, exhibiting its fantastic collection of paleontological discoveries. In the laboratory it is also possible to observe, live, the preparation of fossils.
You can find an Activities Pavilion where visitors can experience activities related to paleontology.
The first negotiations for the creation of Dino Parque were started in 2012. At the same time, the Cooperation Agreement between the Municipality of Lourinhã and the Dinosaurierpark in Münchehagen was signed.

DINOSAURS
The models of dinosaurs exhibited in the Park are built with scientific rigor, on a real scale and according to the latest discoveries made by paleontologists. Maintaining close cooperation and coordination with scientists from around the world.
You can see the most famous dinosaurs in the world, such as Triceratops, Stegosaurus and the great Tyrannosaurus rex, the most famous of all predators. But also, dinosaurs discovered in Lourinhã such as Torvossauros gurneyi, Lourinhasauros or Supersaurus.
SERVICES 
In the central building you can enjoy a restaurant with terrace, ideal for a meal or simply have a coffee. In the park, a support bar, as well as a vending area with drinks and ice cream.
Along the different routes you can also find several rest areas that offer the possibility of doing picnics in full nature.
